Job Title: Database Administrator (DBA) Contract Length: 6 months Location: Hybrid (Inverness) Rate: £350-£400 per day IR35 Status: Outside IR35 Job Description: Our client is seeking a skilled and experienced Database Administrator (DBA) to join their team on a 6-month contract basis. This role offers a competitive daily rate of £350-£400 and is classified as Outside IR35. The position is hybrid, with a mix of remote work and on-site presence in Inverness. Responsibilities: Manage and maintain database systems to ensure optimal performance and security. Perform regular database backups and recovery procedures. Monitor database performance and implement improvements. Collaborate with development teams to design and optimize database solutions. Ensure data integrity and implement security measures. Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues. Requirements: Proven experience as a Database Administrator. Strong knowledge of database management systems (DBMS) such as SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, etc. Familiarity with database design, implementation, and maintenance. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Good communication skills.
