Personal Assistant Location - Lisburn Salary - £26,530 Hybrid working model may be considered Full-time, temporary contract (initial 6 months) Overview: VANRATH are delighted to be assisting a leading public sector organisation in the recruitment of an experienced Personal Assistant to join a high-performing team within the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service. This is an excellent opportunity to support senior leadership in a fast-paced, rewarding environment. The Role: The successful candidate will provide comprehensive administrative and secretarial support to Directors and Assistant Directors across a range of directorates. Responsibilities include: Managing diaries, correspondence, and emails on behalf of senior leaders Drafting documents, letters, presentations and reports using Microsoft Office Handling incoming queries and prioritising communications effectively Coordinating meetings, minute-taking, agendas and follow-up actions Managing travel arrangements and event logistics Supervising junior staff and supporting recruitment activities Maintaining confidentiality, professionalism, and organisational standards at all times The Ideal Candidate: Essential Criteria: 5 GCSEs (Grade C or above) including English and Maths OR 3 years' experience in an administrative/secretarial role Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) Ability to minute/note take at committee level Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills Ability to prioritise and manage a diverse workload Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (unless exempt due to disability) Desirable (Not Essential): Word Processing Level 2 (OCR/RSA or equivalent) For more information, please contact Ethan Boylan today.
