Quality Engineer - API Testing

Job Title : Quality Engineer II Experience : 6- 9Years Job Location : Bangalore Hybrid (2days office) Notice period : Immediate to 30 Days (if serving notice then LWD should be 45Days max) Required Skills & Experience : - Strong experience in API testing, both manual and automated. - Proficiency in designing test strategies and automation frameworks. - Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs and API testing tools. - Experience with automation tools like Postman, Rest Assured, or similar. - Knowledge of scripting languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript. - Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control tools like Git. - Prior experience with Stripe billing and payment processor integration is a plus. - Strong debugging and problem-solving skills. Key Responsibilities: - Design, implement, and execute detailed test plans and strategies for billing system APIs. - Develop and perform functional, regression, and performance tests for billing APIs. - Conduct both manual and automated testing of RESTful APIs. - Create, enhance, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks for APIs. - Work collaboratively with software engineers, product managers, and scrum teams to understand API requirements and ensure high-quality deliverables. - Reproduce, isolate, and debug API issues efficiently. - Ensure smooth integration and functionality of Stripe billing and payment processor. Preferred Qualifications: - Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies. - Familiarity with cloud platforms and microservices architecture. - Knowledge of performance and security testing concepts. - Any graduation B.
