About the project We are at the forefront of innovation, pioneering the next-generation material handling and transportation system within the cutting-edge semiconductor sector. Joining our strategic project, where the high technological content will optimize material flow, you will be a vital link between groundbreaking innovation and practical execution. As part of our dynamic execution team, you will bring this technology from concept to reality, collaborating with top engineers, getting advanced training at our R&D hub in Sweden, and leading its application at our customer’s facility in Sicily. About the role As the Installation Leader , you will be the key figure responsible for coordinating all aspects of material flow system installation at our customer's semiconductor facility. Based in Bologna, with frequent presence required on-site in Catania, you will manage suppliers, plan detailed installation schedules, verify and control costs, and supervise on-field activities to ensure quality, compliance, and timely completion. You will closely collaborate with internal teams, external contractors, and our customer’s operational and engineering groups, ensuring seamless integration of our state-of-the-art transportation solutions into cleanroom environments. Main responsibilities will include: Coordinate, manage, and supervise all installation activities related to our advanced material flow solutions, ensuring adherence to project timelines, specifications, and budget; Act as the primary point of contact for suppliers, contractors, and internal stakeholders, providing clear direction, support, and feedback; Develop, update, and manage detailed installation schedules, actively mitigating risks and promptly addressing installation challenges; Be the main on-site reference point for the customer and for suppliers. Regularly inspect on-site progress, ensuring quality control, compliance with safety standards, and adherence to cleanroom protocols; Monitor and verify project costs, ensuring accurate reporting, budget adherence, and proactive management of variations; Provide detailed progress reports to management, maintaining transparent communication with all relevant stakeholders; Facilitate effective communication between installation teams and engineering ensuring rapid resolution of technical issues; Continuously identify areas for improvement, driving initiatives that enhance installation efficiency, reliability, and quality. What you need to be successful At least 10 years of experience in installation or construction management within high-tech or semiconductor environments; Demonstrated experience with cleanroom protocols and installation activities in semiconductor front-end facilities; Proven ability to manage multiple suppliers and contractors, coordinating complex installation plans effectively; Strong expertise in project scheduling, cost verification, and budget management; Willingness and ability to frequently travel and work on-site in Catania, Sicily; Detail-oriented with a hands-on, proactive attitude, capable of working independently and collaboratively in dynamic project environments.
