Job Description

What you will do: Lead the implementation and maintenance of trade compliance programs in accordance with local and international regulations. Ensure adherence to U.S. and EU export controls, sanctions, and customs regulations. Act as the primary contact for trade compliance issues, providing guidance to team members and management. Conduct regular audits and assessments of trade compliance activities to identify areas for improvement. Develop and deliver training programs related to trade compliance for various departments. Collaborate with logistics and supply chain teams to ensure proper documentation and compliance for import and export activities. Monitor changes in trade legislation and assess their impact on company operations. Prepare reports and presentations for senior management on trade compliance status and initiatives. What we look for: Bachelor's degree in International Business, Trade Compliance, Law, or a related field. Minimum 5 years of experience in trade compliance, preferably within a manufacturing environment. Strong knowledge of U.S. and EU export controls and customs regulations. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with trade compliance software is a plus. Preferred qualifications: Certification in trade compliance or related field (e.g., CUSECO, CES).
