Description: Job Title: Retail Manager Salary: $55,000-$65,000 Position Overview We are seeking a creative, results-driven, and experienced Retail Manager to lead the operations of our retail location. This role demands a strategic thinker with a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences and a proven ability to drive store and online performance. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in inventory management, retail online sales, and practical experience using Shopify to support seamless in-store and e-commerce integration. You'll be responsible for optimizing day-to-day operations, leading a high-performing team, managing inventory flow, and executing sales and marketing strategies to meet business goals. Oversee all aspects of store operations including opening/closing procedures, cash handling, scheduling, allotment management, outfit academy and club teams, and adherence to company policies. ? Lead, mentor, and develop store team members to achieve individual and team performance goals. ? Foster a positive team environment that encourages accountability, engagement, and growth. Customer Experience ? Develop a strong online retail experience that engages SPIRE's online community with its merchandise through creative content, product offerings, and brand collaborations. ? Maintain a high level of customer service by ensuring all staff are trained and empowered to resolve issues and exceed customer expectations. ? Handle escalated customer inquiries and resolve complex issues with professionalism and urgency. Sales & Performance Management ? Analyze sales reports and OKRs to identify trends, opportunities, and action plans for improvement. ? Collaborate with senior management on promotional planning, visual merchandising, and marketing efforts. ? Drive both in-store and online sales by aligning store operations with omnichannel strategies. Inventory & Merchandising ? Manage inventory levels through purchasing, receiving, transfers, and markdowns, ensuring accuracy and availability of key products. ? Conduct regular cycle counts, stock audits, and inventory reconciliations to minimize shrinkage. ? Utilize inventory management tools and Shopify POS to maintain real-time product visibility and reporting accuracy. Shopify & Technology Integration ? Oversee Shopify POS operations for both in-store and e-commerce transactions. ? Work collaboratively with marketing and digital teams to ensure product listings, promotions, and customer data are synchronized across platforms. ? Leverage Shopify analytics and reporting tools to inform merchandising, reporting, and sales strategies. Financial Oversight ? Assist in managing budgets, monitoring expenses, and implementing cost-control measures. ? Ensure all financial transactions comply with company policies and procedures. Qualifications ? 3 years of progressive retail experience, with at least 1–2 years in a managerial or supervisory role. ? Demonstrated experience with Shopify, including POS operations and basic e-commerce functionalities. ? Solid understanding of inventory management principles and use of inventory systems. ? Proven ability to lead, inspire, and manage diverse teams in a retail environment. ? Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, set priorities, and drive results. ? Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills. ? Tech-savvy with proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel), POS systems, and retail analytics tools. ? Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. ? Familiarity with developing social media audiences and driving engagement. Preferred Qualifications ? Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or related field. ? Experience in both physical retail and e-commerce or omnichannel environments. ? Familiarity with retail merchandising strategies and visual display standards. ? Knowledge of basic supply chain logistics and vendor coordination. ?
