Job Description Job Description Job Title: Nurse Coordinator Duration: 6 Month Contract to Hire Location: Palo Alto, CA Pay Rate: 80/hr. Schedule: Monday -Thursday 7:00am-5:00pm Day-to-Day Responsibilities: Patient Care: Provide compassionate and professional nursing care to oncology patients in an outpatient setting. Treatment Administration: Administer medications, including chemotherapy, and monitor patient responses. Patient Education: Educate patients and their families about treatment plans, medications, and self-care strategies. Coordination: Collaborate with oncologists, healthcare team members, and support staff to ensure seamless patient care. Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including treatment plans and progress notes. Assessment: Conduct regular patient assessments, monitor vital signs, and manage symptoms. Support: Offer emotional support and counseling to patients and their families during treatment. Must Haves CA Registered Nurse BLS (Basic Life Support) 2 years of Oncology experience Outpatient Experience Plusses Chemotherapy Certified Benefits Health Vision Dental 401K
