Summit Medical Staffing Allied is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Wausau, Wisconsin. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Med Surg Discipline: RN Start Date: 05/19/2025 Duration: 13 weeks 48 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Contract Length: 13 weeks Start Date: asap Guaranteed Hours Per Week: 48 hours per week. OT after 48 hrs worked. Shift Requirements: 12 hour variable shifts. days and nights every other weekend and holiday rotation Float Requirements: To any inpatient unit and to other Central region locations if needed. On Call/Call Back Requirements: NA Required Certifications: WI RN, AHA BLS Minimum Experience: 1 Year Inpatient Palliative Care preferred- 2 yrs MS experience REQUIRED. Will float between palliative and inpatient rehab Charting Experience Required : Epic required Required Skillset: Med/Surg skill set required, experience in Palliative Care/Hospice would be helpful Primary Cases: Palliative, Comfort/Hospice, Med/Surg Unit Information (Bed size, Case type, Patient ratio): 10 bed unit. 2 RN s and 1 C.NA per 10 patients. 5:1 RN ratio Hard worker, Resilient and Manages Change well, Social candidates Scrub Colors: any REQUIRED EDUCATION:Associate Degree or Certificate HOLIDAY ROTATION REQUIREMENTS:every other SHIFT NOTES:12 hour day and night variables Please note that this is strictly the hourly and stipends pay for this position.
