Laboratory Technician 1

As a Lab Assistant, you will play a critical role in supporting daily facility operations within a manufacturing environment. This position assists production personnel with essential administrative, logistical, and housekeeping responsibilities that contribute to exceptional customer service and ongoing site inspection readiness. Please note, this is a night shift position and involves occupational exposure to radiation in accordance with safety protocols. Key Responsibilities: Work independently while following written and verbal technical instructions Maintain awareness and compliance with radiation safety, EHS (Environmental, Health & Safety), and quality programs Package radiopharmaceuticals for shipment, perform quality checks, and manage container loading/unloading Communicate and coordinate courier logistics; track shipments and schedule changes Process returned packages from customer sites and document accordingly Support inventory management including storage, check-in, and organization of materials Sanitize delivery cases, high-touch surfaces, work areas, and facility spaces Perform general cleaning to ensure a safe and inspection-ready environment Handle clerical duties including answering calls, taking messages, and assisting pharmacy staff Lift and carry items weighing up to 100 lbs as needed Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor Required Skills & Qualifications: Ability to work independently and under pressure Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to read and follow technical procedures and policies Understanding of radiation safety procedures and commitment to compliance Familiarity with logistics or shipping practices is a plus Must be physically able to lift up to 100 lbs Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience in a manufacturing, pharmaceutical, or logistics environment Experience working with radiopharmaceuticals or hazardous materials Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and inspection protocols 268 W Cummings Park Woburn MA USA 01801
