Facilities Technician (SP3- California)

YOUR TASKS: * Perform on-site preventative maintenance and troubleshooting of facilities equipment and CVD reactors * Create and execute plans for installation of new and replacement equipment * Maintain logs, document, and report equipment conditions accurately * Manage hazardous waste collection and disposal * Ensure regulatory compliance with government agencies including fire department, wastewater, etc. * Collaborate with production and engineering teams to address quality issues and improve processes * Supervise outside contractors and service providers as needed: electricians, plumbers, etc. * Follow established procedures for quality assurance and safety standards * Assist with other duties as assigned to support overall production * Assist with manufacture of CVD systems for customers and internal use * Collaborate with production to plan and schedule runs * Assist with reactor tooling setups YOUR PROFILE: * High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification is a plus * Excellent technical knowledge of industrial equipment systems, including process cooling water, compressed air, process gasses, electrical, mechanical, chemical handling, plumbing, etc. * Basic understanding of vacuum systems and CVD (or other semiconductor) tools is a plus * Experience with hand tools, power tools, electrical multimeter, and associated safety procedures * Clean room, machine shop, or fabrication experience is a plus * Ability to climb ladders and work at elevated heights; ability to work in confined spaces; ability to move equipment weighing up to 50 lbs. * Proficiency in basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) WE OFFER: * Market competitive salary * Benefit eligibility and vesting that start on your 1st day with us!
