By joining our District 9 , Engineering Support Branch, as a District Facilities Technician in Flemingd County, you'll have the opportunity to be responsible for the maintenance and repair of highway facilties and related equipment througout the district and perform other duties as required. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: * Review of maintenance or repair needs. * Perform general building maintenance. * Oversee the day-to-day activities and check the work of contract personnel. * Cleans HVAC equipment to ensure proper functionality. * Keep record of equipment servicing and maintenance schedules. Ideal candidate will have experience in: * Experience in building maintenance. * Experience in mechanical maintenance. Minimum Requirements EDUCATION: NONE EXPERIENCE, TRAINING, OR SKILLS: Must have four years of building maintenance, skilled trades or mechanical maintenance experience. Substitute EDUCATION for EXPERIENCE: Vocational or technical school training in one of the above or related fields will substitute for the experience on a year-for-year basis.
