Job Description Job Description Are you a detail-oriented CAD professional with a passion for precision? Our client is seeking a skilled CAD Technician/Surveyor to support their engineering team in drafting and designing essential projects. What You’ll Do: Develop clear, precise drawings that meet jurisdictional CAD standards. Organize and manage electronic document structures and naming conventions per company and client requirements. Collaborate with internal and external teams to provide technical support and project insights. Maintain and manage AutoCAD files and related documentation. Assist in acquiring maps, records, and other reference materials. Support the engineering team by preparing plans for construction projects. What We’re Looking For: Education & Certifications: Associate’s degree in drafting, computer graphics, civil engineering, surveying, mathematics, planning, or a related field. Enrollment in an undergraduate program in a related field is required. CAD/Drafting certification is preferred. Experience: Minimum one year of experience in surveying and mapping work. Minimum one year of experience using drafting software. Must have experience with Autodesk Civil 3D. Skills & Abilities: Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to provide clear, timely responses to inquiries. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Attention to detail and accuracy in work execution. Ability to receive and apply constructive feedback effectively. Technical Proficiency: Experience using drafting software (AutoCAD and Autodesk Civil 3D required). Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Why Join Us?
