SAP SCM Expert

Role Overview : The SAP SCM Expert will play a strategic and hands-on role in aligning SAP supply chain solutions with business needs. This position requires advanced knowledge of SAP SCM modules, particularly SAP APO, SAP IBP, SAP MM, SAP SD, SAP PP, SAP EWM, and TM, and experience in S/4HANA environments is highly Responsibilities & Process Leadership : - Collaborate with business users to gather requirements and understand current SCM processes. - Lead blueprinting, solution design, and configuration of SCM modules in SAP. - Translate business needs into functional specifications and design scalable, effective Implementation & Configuration : - Implement and configure modules including (based on business needs) : 1. SAP APO (Advanced Planning & Optimization) 2. SAP IBP (Integrated Business Planning) 3. SAP MM (Materials Management) 4. SAP SD (Sales and Distribution) 5. SAP PP (Production Planning) 6. SAP EWM (Extended Warehouse Management) 7. SAP TM (Transportation Collaboration : - Work closely with ABAP developers for custom developments, enhancements, and data migrations. - Collaborate with BASIS and infrastructure teams for deployment and system & Reporting : - Design and support SCM reports using SAP BW/BI, Fiori apps, or embedded analytics. - Monitor KPIs and performance metrics to improve supply chain & Support : - Manage UAT, system integration testing, and regression testing for SCM modules. - Provide Level 2/3 production support, resolve incidents, and implement system & Optimization : - Ensure smooth integration with other SAP modules like FICO, QM, HCM, and third-party logistics tools. - Drive continuous improvement and automation within supply chain Skills & Qualifications Skills : - In-depth expertise in SAP SCM modules, with implementation and support experience. - Strong domain knowledge in supply chain planning, logistics, procurement, and inventory. - Experience with SAP S/4HANA SCM, including embedded PP/DS and EWM functionalities. - Knowledge of demand planning, MRP, ATP, production scheduling, and supply network Skills : - Experience in SAP configuration, functional specs preparation, and system integration. - Familiarity with ABAP debugging, BAPI, IDoc, RFC, and user exits. - Good command over tools like SAP Solution Manager, Fiori, SAP GUI, and SCM Cockpit. - Understanding of SAP BW/BI, analytics, or SAP Fiori-based SCM reporting is a & Experience : - Bachelors degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, IT, or a related field (Masters preferred). - 7 years of experience in SAP SCM, including at least 2 full-cycle implementations. - SAP certification(s) in relevant modules (e.g., SAP IBP, SAP PP, SAP MM, or SAP EWM) is a strong advantage (ref:hirist.tech)
