Electrical Engineering Manager

The Electrical Engineering Manager related to Electronic Powered Steering provides guidance and training to product engineering, process engineering, production, quality and other aspects. The manager will provide guidance in the areas of electrical Powered Steering assemblies and components, as well as in performing required tests, process specifications, core repairs, savings, quality improvements, warranty and analysis if necessary. In addition, the electrical engineering manager will interact with plant and engineering managers in Reynosa (CANDIDATE NEEDS TO BE ABLE TO RELOCATE TO THIS CITY, THIS POSITION WILL BE TOTTALY ON SITE IN TERREPOWER REYNOSA) , as well communications managers located in the United States. This will include planning activities based on company guidelines and objectives, including priorities to achieve established goals and reporting on the status of each. Qualifications Required o University Degree in Engineering o Bilingual English / Spanish o Automotive product experience o Understanding of quality standards for original parts o Experience with electrical addressing o Motivation to interact with the team and product o Team player, skilled at knowing different positions o Automotive engineering, manufacturing or remanufacturing experience o Experience as an engineering leader o Experience working with electro-mechanical products Desirable o Experience with TIER 1 customers / original parts electrical address manufacturing o Experience in management positions with more than 3 years of experience o Experience with automotive manufacturing or remanufacturing o Experience with communication protocols (CAN, LINE, K-LINE, FLEX RAY and automotive ethernet). o Experience with electronic control modules. o Experience with software such as LabVIEW, C# or similar programming software.
