This includes: Suppliers selection and sourcing for assigned product lines. (RFQ activity, analysis of supplier responses and quotes and placing blanket purchase orders); Leading and facilitation of pricing negotiations and contract discussions, dealing with all the Company Departments needed to fulfill the targets; Develop / implement supply base management strategies both regionally and globally that lead to lowest total cost in terms of quality, lead time, delivery, and pricing; Support cost savings initiatives for sourcing area base; Support special projects as necessary. Support and resolve supplier issues such as accounts payable resolution, past due deliveries, and risks related to production lines and aftermarket customers. REQUIRED SKILLS: (preferred) Mechanical Engineering degree or similar degree Good analytical and problem-solving skills Demonstrated ability to collaborate as an effective team member Good communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft applications: Excel, Word, PowerPoint SAP knowledge (preferred) LANGUAGE SKILLS: English: fluent Location: Turin, Italy J-18808-Ljbffr
