PROJECT ENGINEER - Chinese language (Milan headquarter)

She/He cooperates with the Project Engineering Manager (PEM) in the Project Engineering Activities coordination, guaranteeing that the deadlines, as well as the budget on the assigned activities are respected. In accordance with her/his experience she/he can also co-ordinate a small group of less experienced Project Engineers. In case of less complex and smaller projects she/he can also take on the role normally assigned to PEM. Key Activities & Responsibilities To supervise specific multi-disciplinary activities and critical engineering cycles attaining to the contract’s budget, as well as to the project’s execution timing. To report to PEM concerning the status, planning and crucial issues of the activities she/he has been assigned to. To support the PEM in the definition and preparation of the co-ordination and engineering project execution procedures. To ensure the multidisciplinary project documents quality, in accordance with the contract requirements and respecting the assigned budget and executing project deadlines. To support the PEM in the definition of the project basic technical choices, identifying the best solutions, from a technical, economical and temporal point of view, guaranteeing their completeness and accuracy, on the basis of the technical specifications and guidelines of the assigned project. Requirements: 5 -10 years of experience in similar role and in similar business. Technical skills in Oil & Gas, fertilizers or petrochemical industries. Engineering technical degree is required. Fluent English and Chinese - both spoken and written; Chinese language is mandatory . Availability to travel abroad and for assignment at site. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
