Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Med Surg / Telemetry Discipline: RN Start Date: 05/26/2025 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours Employment Type: Travel HPA is seeking an experienced Travel Med Surg RN for a night shift assignment in Monroe, NC. This 13-week contract for 36 hours per week . The 45-bed unit cares for general surgery, ortho, stroke, COPD, and med-tele patients with a typical RN ratio of 1:5–6 . Requirements: Minimum 18 months of recent Med Surg/Tele RN experience, active BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS. Must be skilled in IV starts, wound care, central line management, and non-titrating drips (Cardizem, Amiodarone, Heparin). Support includes CNAs, phlebotomy, IV/VAT, 24/7 hospitalist and RT coverage, centralized telemetry, and Epic EMR. Floating within Region 2 required; travel time is paid.
