We are hiring for Radiology Technician at Santa Fe NM. Please go through the job requirement Job Title: Radiology Technician Location: Santa Fe NM 87505 Duration: Base Year (12 months) with 4 one-year option periods (12- months) Start Date: July 1st 2025 Shift Schedule: Will be 8:00 am to 6:30 pm Monday through Friday (40 Hours in week) Qualification: Education: Bachelor Science degree or Associates degree with 2 years' experience or more. Certifications: BLS, and shall hold a current license in general radiographic and certified in mammography from an approved FDA. Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in Radiology Technician. Responsibilities: Perform a variety of radiology procedures including X-ray, JVN, and mammography following DHHS and IHS standards. Proficiently use RPMS (Resource Patient Management System) for imaging workflow and reporting. Position patients, explain procedures, select technical factors, and operate equipment for imaging. Ensure all digital radiology images are transferred to radiologists for interpretation. Review and amend images that do not meet standards before radiologist evaluation. Maintain mammography program including QC, patient communication, and regulatory requirements. Perform minor equipment maintenance and coordinate with vendors for technical support. Schedule patient exams, maintain logs, and call patients for appointments or cancellations. Participate in AAAHC and FDA inspections and ensure department compliance. Collaborate with medical staff to coordinate appropriate diagnostic studies. Follow safety protocols including ALARA, infection control, and patient identification. Input and manage mammogram data in RPMS/EHR; file and report as required. Adhere to departmental policies and federal standards from CMS, AAAHC, and Others. Maintain professional conduct, appearance, and complete competencies on time. Keep exam areas clean, stocked, and sanitized; follow proper PPE and hygiene protocols. Contractor must have the skills sufficient to operate, calibrate, and perform preventative maintenance on available instrumentation. Contractor must have the technical physiologic, and mechanical indicators of malfunctionssufficient to correct minor problems, to troubleshoot, and to notify technologist of major testing problems or analyzer platforms such as the Siemens CA660 Coagulation analyzer, COBES 6000 Chemistry platform, Sysmex Hematology analyzers, i-SED ALCOR Meters, MedTox testing meters, NovaBioPrime Blood Gas analyzers OR analyzer/meter experience comparable to those listed above. Contractor must be proficient with the RPMS as all laboratory work revolve around the Electronic Health Record (EHR) hospital and RPMS laboratory information system.
