Job Title: Cardiovascular Specialist I Job Specialty: Contract Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 9-5, with alternate weekends Guaranteed Hours: 37.50 hours per week Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a Cardiac Cath or EP lab License: Not specified Certifications: Not specified Must-Have: Experience as a Vascular Tech and Echo Tech Job Description: - Prepare patients for invasive cardiac procedures by maintaining sterile techniques and ensuring equipment readiness. - Assist in hemodynamic monitoring during procedures, alerting the care team of any changes. - Maintain and ensure proper functioning of all equipment, including troubleshooting issues and coordinating repairs. - Restock procedure rooms and lab areas, maintaining par level inventory and participating in product evaluations. - Assist with procedures by counting revolutions during rotablation, setting up sterile instrument tables, and assisting with draping patients. - Perform transport and patient transfer functions, adhering to established guidelines. - Support cardiologists with selective procedures by applying principles of asepsis, conducting surgical scrubs, and gowning and gloving appropriately. - Promote a culturally sensitive and inclusive environment, valuing diverse backgrounds and experiences. - Perform additional responsibilities as required to support clinical care team objectives.
