Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN - PCU - 3rd, Neuro Med/Surg Shift : Nights / 7p-7a, 12x3, 36 hrs per week Length : 13 weeks Requirements: TN License 2 Years Experience Med/Surg Experience Ability to prioritize care, multitask, start IV’s, basic wound care, maintenance of surgical drains, nasogastric tubes, & chest tubes. BLS Other Details: Floating policy: Contract labor is first to float; go by rotation when there are multiple C/L staff scheduled Number of Beds : 20 Patient Ratios : 6:1 Documentation system: Meditech Type of equipment: IV Pumps, Telemetry, SCD’s, Continuous Pulse Ox Machines, Feeding Pumps, PCA, EKG machines, bladder scanner, iMobile communication technology Patient Experience requirements: Expected to provide attentive and compassionate care to patients/family members. Bedside shift report, ability to make personal connections with patients and include them/family members in their plan of care.
