Junior Pipeline Engineer

Position We are currently looking for a Junior Pipeline Engineer to join our Engineering Center in Fano (PU). The role of Pipeline Engineer is to design pipe systems for transporting a variety of fluids such as hydrocarbons gas, oil, LPG, but also water, slurry, CO2, or Hydrogen. The Pipeline Engineer must know the fundamentals of Pipeline Stress Analysis, Pipeline Hydraulics, and Cathodic Protection in order to support the relevant Discipline Specialists in the detail design of the Pipeline Project. The Pipeline Engineer shall have a full knowledge of Pipeline materials such as Linepipe, Anchor Flange, Barred Tee, Insulating Joint, Pig Trap, Field Joint Coating, and Pipeline Coating. Responsibilities: Select the best Pipeline Routing according to Project requirements, international standards, and local environmental and safety regulations. The Route Selection shall take into consideration also the constructability of the interested area, minimizing environmental impacts, economical costs, and construction schedule. Set up all Pipeline Construction Drawings such as Alignment Sheet drawings, Typical Drawings, and Detail Crossing Drawings according to Project Requirements, Local Regulation, and International Standards. Perform calculation reports for the verification and design of the Pipe wall thickness, buoyancy calculation, road, and railway crossing. Set up and organize all the Site Activities necessary to develop the engineering design of a Pipeline Project such as Topographic Survey, Geotechnical, and Soil Resistivity Survey. Requirements Bachelor's degree in civil, civil environmental, mechanical, or structural engineering. Excellent computer knowledge of Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Good practice and experience in the use of AutoCAD and GIS Software will be a plus. Knowledge of Topography and of the key principles of Geotechnique. Basic knowledge of Pipeline Hydraulics. Excellent interpersonal skills, problem-solving, and decision-maker attitude. Adaptability and stress tolerance.
