A leading civil engineering contractor based in Cape Town is seeking a Financial Accountant with Buildsmart software experience to join their dynamic team. Key Responsibilities: Full financial accounting function, including monthly reporting and reconciliations Budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management Managing project costings and reporting in Buildsmart Preparation of audit files and liaison with auditors Compliance with tax regulations and statutory requirements Supporting project managers with financial insights and control Requirements: BCom Accounting or relevant financial qualification Minimum 35 years of financial accounting experience, ideally within construction or civil engineering Proficient in Buildsmart software (essential) Strong analytical skills and attention to detail Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
