Data Analyst

Role: Data Analyst/Aircraft Engine Performance Engineer Type: 12 month contract Location: Onsite in Mississauga, ON Rate: $55-$58/hr JOB DESCRIPTION Insight Global is seeking an Aircraft Engine Performance Engineer/Data Analyst to join a top aerospace company in Longueuil, QC or Mississauga, ON. Your responsibilities will include conducting engine operational data analysis, performing field investigations, and providing engine performance health monitoring support to engineering and customer service groups. Additionally, you will develop engine data processing scripts, diagnostic algorithms, and prognostic AI/ML code within a Databricks cloud environment, utilizing an automated CI/CD pipeline. Day to day includes analyzing engine performance deterioration, detecting system-level anomalies, and conducting fault/event analysis for engine control systems. You will plan and support the development and validation of prognostic algorithms, update standard work documents, and collaborate with Customer Service groups on operational mission usage. Additionally, you will create data processing scripts and AI/ML code, participate in technical meetings, build and deploy data visualization dashboards, and monitor data processing pipelines, ensuring data quality and taking corrective actions as needed. REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE Bachelor's degree in aerospace engineering or mechanical engineering 5 years of experience in engine health and engine performance monitoring, engine gas path trend monitoring Strong programming skills in Python and C#, SQL Deployment in AWS, Databricks Experience with GitHub, JIRA, and Confluence Proven experience visualizing large data sets using BI tools (Tableau, Power BI) NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE MATLAB
