Responsibilities: • Process and manage patient billing information, ensuring accuracy and compliance with healthcare regulations. • Handle accounts receivable tasks, including tracking payments and resolving discrepancies. • Submit and follow up on insurance claims to ensure timely reimbursement. • Address and resolve billing inquiries from patients and insurance providers. • Conduct appeals for denied claims, providing necessary documentation and follow-up. • Maintain and update patient records in electronic medical record (EMR) systems. • Perform accurate data entry for billing and claim purposes. • Collaborate with healthcare providers and administrative staff to streamline billing functions. • Monitor and manage claim administration processes to ensure timely resolution. • Deliver excellent customer service by addressing concerns and providing billing-related support.• Proven experience in medical billing within the healthcare industry. • Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems such as Allscripts or Cerner. • Strong knowledge of billing processes, including claims administration and appeals. • Proficiency in accounts receivable management and payment tracking. • Excellent data entry skills with attention to detail and accuracy. • Ability to provide outstanding customer service with a focus on detail and quality. • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills. • Knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance requirements.
