Job Description Job Description Minimum 1 years school psychologist experience required. 2025-2026 Full Time School Psychologist - Near Liberty, SC ProCare Therapy is looking to fill a School Psychologist contract job in our school district! This is a full-time, on-site position for the 2025-2026 school year. As a School Psychologist, you will provide essential support for students by conducting evaluations, assessments, and collaborating with school staff and families. Location : Easley, SC Job Type: Full-time School Psychologist Start/End Date : August 1, 2025 - May 22, 2026 Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive psycho-educational evaluations for students referred for potential special education services. Provide information to parents and school staff regarding the referral/assessment process, special education services, and their rights relative to special education. Maintain knowledge of all regulations (local, state, and federal) regarding psychological and special education services. Administer, score, analyze, and interpret intellectual, academic, social/emotional/behavioral, and other psychometric assessments. Integrate all elements of assessment data into a cohesive report to address initial referral questions and determine special education eligibility. Communicate evaluation results, conclusions, and recommendations clearly and concisely through oral and written reporting to parents, school staff, students, and other service providers as appropriate. Monitor the referral, evaluation, and placement process to ensure compliance with all due process requirements. Qualifications : Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field. Certification or licensure as a School Psychologist in the state of South Carolina. Experience : Previous experience working as a School Psychologist, preferably in a school setting . Experience with diverse populations and a variety of psychological assessments and interventions. Skills : Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with students, families, and staff. Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. Knowledge of best practices in school psychology, mental health, and education. Additional Requirements : Ability to pass a background check and obtain required clearances. Proficiency in using assessment tools and technology related to psychology and education. Salary and Benefits: Weekly Pay Competitive hourly rate (Pay dependent on experience and school district budget.)
