Travel | Operating Room RN in Rochester, NY | 13-Week Contract

Job Description Job Description Minimum 1 years nursing experience required. We are seeking a skilled and dedicated OR Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in Rochester, NY. The ideal candidate will have OR experience in a Level 1 Trauma Center and be capable of both scrubbing and circulating during surgical procedures. Job Description: 36 hours per week 13 weeks Rotating Shifts Key Responsibilities: Provide direct patient care in the operating room during surgical procedures. Scrub in and circulate during surgeries, ensuring proper instruments, supplies, and sterile techniques are utilized. Monitor patients condition before, during, and after surgery, ensuring safety and comfort. Assist with the preparation and organization of the surgical environment. Collaborate with surgeons and the surgical team to provide the best patient outcomes. Ensure accurate documentation of patient care during procedures. Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to infection control protocols. Requirements : RN License in New York State (NY state license ONLY). Two years of OR experience; experience in a Level 1 trauma center preferred. Ability to scrub and circulate during surgical procedures. BLS certification from AHArequired.
