Job Posting: Elementary Special Education Teacher (Onsite) Location: Thornton, PA Area pany: Soliant Education Contract: ASAP Start Start Date: ASAP | End Date: June 13, 2025 Position Type: Full Time (37.5 hours/week) Pay Range (Hourly): $34 - $43/hour Annual Estimate: $45,000 - $60,000 Work Setting: Onsite Soliant Education is currently seeking a dedicated and qualified Elementary Special Education Teacher for an immediate full-time opening in the Thornton, PA area . This is a contract position for the 2025-2026 school year, with weekly pay and prehensive benefits. Responsibilities: Provide specialized instruction for elementary-aged students with varying needs. Manage a full elementary caseload in accordance with state and district standards. Create and implement lesson plans aligned with PA state standards and IEP goals. Utilize data-driven instruction through formative assessments and differentiated strategies. Foster a safe, inclusive, and structured learning environment. Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families. Maintain accurate records, IEP documentation, and progress monitoring. Demonstrate strong classroom and behavioral management skills. Requirements: Active Pennsylvania Special Education Certification or License. Must be able to plete and maintain all required PA clearances. Bachelors degree required (to qualify for emergency teaching permit if applicable). Previous school-based experience required. Must have experience working in an urban school setting. Strong instructional, classroom, and behavioral management skills are essential.
