Employ speech therapy strategies and techniques during each session to improve the development of speech and communication skills, receptive and expressive language, cognition, and memory while meeting the individual age-appropriate needs of each child in their natural environment. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a recognized institution. Active license to practice Speech-Language Pathology in Virginia . Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. Two years of experience in educational settings is preferred Ability to navigate virtual therapy tools and technology for remote service delivery is preferred. High-speed and reliable internet connection and a personal computer with updated software are essential. Capacity to work autonomously and collaboratively within the schoolteam.
