Summary: The Employee Services Coordinator provides essential support to field staff within a landscape maintenance and construction company, focusing on recruitment, onboarding, compliance, and day-to-day HR needs. This role requires bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English to communicate effectively with a diverse workforce and emphasizes the importance of confidentiality when handling employee information. The Employee Services Coordinator will serve as a trusted resource for field employees, maintain compliance, and foster a positive, inclusive work environment. Key Responsibilities: Assist with payroll processing by collecting, reviewing, and verifying field staff timesheets and job coding. Assist with recruiting field employees through job postings, outreach, and scheduling interviews. Manage the onboarding process for new field hires, ensuring they understand company policies, job expectations, and safety requirements. Conduct orientation sessions in both English and Spanish, covering safety protocols, equipment handling, and company policies specific to field roles. Ensure all onboarding paperwork is completed and filed properly, including I-9s. Maintain personnel files in compliance with federal, state, and company policies. Serve as a first point of contact for field employees regarding HR policies, concerns, and questions. Utilize bilingual skills to communicate effectively with Spanish-speaking employees, ensuring they feel supported and informed. Maintain strict confidentiality of all employee information, including personal details, performance records, and disciplinary actions. Qualifications: Bilingual (Spanish/English) required. 2 years of experience in human resources, employee services, or field operations support (preferably in construction, landscaping, or a similar industry). High school diploma required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred. Knowledge of basic employment law (FLSA, OSHA, FMLA, etc.) preferred. Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information. Proficient with HRIS systems, Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) preferred. Working Conditions: Primarily office-based with occasional visits to project sites. Project site visits may be either indoors or outdoors in areas that are dusty, dirty, in the rain and muddy. Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs occasionally.
