Job Description & Requirements Specialty: OR - Operating Room Discipline: RN Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Milwaukee, WI Level II Trauma Center Level III NICU Magnet Designation Primary Stroke Center Beds: 933 General Information OR Beds: 21 Experience: 2 year First-time traveler: Further approval/evaluation from hiring supervisor; Would not recommend for first time travelers Patient Types: Neuro/ENT, Orthopedic, General: Breasts/Plastics, Vascular, Laparoscopic, General Oncology, Genitourinary (GU), Gynecology (GYN), Robots (Do not train Agency unless a strong background and here for more than 1 contract) Patient Ratios: 1:1 Required Certifications: RN: BLS Neuro/ENT: Medtronic Navigation (Cranial & Spine); Medtronic Stealth (ENT); Stryker & Synaptive Navigation (Cranial) ENT: Neck dissections with flaps, Sinus Surgery (Stealth Navigation), Basic (Tonsil), Tympanoplasty, Cochlear (not a deal breaker) Neuro: Spine Surgeries (Laminectomies, ALIFs, Fusions and discectomies), Craniotomies (Tumors, AVMs/Aneurysms, VP shunts, subdural EVD)Support on the Unit: Charge Nurse, Leads, Supervisors Charting System/Equipment: EPIC Alaris Pyxis Floating: Cross trained to all Main OR specialties and Urology center but no floating to other hospitals.
