Job Description Key Responsibilities: Manage the overall execution of large-scale commercial construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Oversee project teams, including Project Managers, Assistant Project Managers, Superintendents, and subcontractors, to ensure smooth and efficient project delivery. Develop and manage project schedules, ensuring that deadlines are met and milestones are achieved. Maintain project budgets, track costs, and prepare regular financial reports to ensure projects stay within financial targets. Collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure project requirements and specifications are met. Lead the procurement process, including evaluating and selecting subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers. Review and approve change orders, RFIs, submittals, and other project documentation. Monitor on-site operations to ensure adherence to safety protocols, quality control standards, and compliance with building codes and regulations. Identify and mitigate project risks, proactively addressing issues and challenges as they arise. Provide leadership and mentorship to project teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment. Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular project updates and addressing any concerns or issues. Prepare and lead project meetings with internal teams, clients, and stakeholders to track progress, resolve issues, and ensure clear communication. Support business development efforts, including assisting with proposals and estimating for new projects. The Successful Applicant Qualifications: 7 years of experience in commercial construction project management, with a proven track record of successfully managing large, complex projects. Strong understanding of construction processes, contract administration, and project management methodologies. Proven experience managing project budgets, schedules, and resources effectively. Ability to lead and motivate project teams, including project managers, superintendents, and subcontractors. Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills. Strong knowledge of relevant construction software (e.g., Procore, Buildertrend, Prolog) and Microsoft Office Suite. In-depth knowledge of construction safety standards, local building codes, and regulatory requirements. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field (Master's degree or professional certifications such as PMP or LEED are a plus). Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
