Job Description Job Description Job Title: Maintenance Technician |2nd OR 3rd shift | $25-$30/hr Job Description We are seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician (Multi-Craft) to join our team on the 2nd shift (3:30 pm - 11:30 pm). This role involves maintaining and repairing production equipment within an industrial setting, focusing on electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems. Responsibilities Perform industrial maintenance and repair of production equipment. Conduct electrical repairs involving 480v and 3-phase electric systems, motors, circuitry, and schematics. Maintain steam boiler systems, conveyors, presses, and other machinery. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical breakdowns. Diagnose and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems. Carry out preventative maintenance during night shifts. Assist with facility projects, including building new equipment and setting up production lines. Support plumbing, water treatment, and additional tasks as needed. Essential Skills 4 years of industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience with a stable work history. Proficiency in mechanical and electrical maintenance. Experience in hydraulics and pneumatics maintenance. Strong understanding of electrical systems, including wiring, motors, and conduit installation. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics. Competence in using shop equipment and tools, such as presses, mills, pipe threads, and forklifts. Adherence to safety practices, including lockout/tagout, PPE usage, confined space procedures, and hot work protocols. Additional Skills & Qualifications Plumbing skills. Experience with steam boiler systems. Knowledge of low and high-pressure boilers and steam systems. Welding experience. Experience in highly automated environments, including robotics and PLCs. Work Environment Work in an industrial manufacturing facility that is non-climate controlled, which can be hot during the summer months. The facility employs roughly 50 people at the Gnadenhutten location, with additional employees in the Beach City facility. This is an organized and safe environment focused on manufacturing insulated vinyl siding. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Gnadenhutten, Ohio. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $33.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
