Role Description : This is an exciting full-time, on-site opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior SAP Project Manager to join our growing team in Chennai. You will play a crucial role in supporting the successful delivery of SAP projects, working closely with experienced project managers and cross-functional teams. Your responsibilities will encompass various aspects of the project lifecycle, from planning and coordination to monitoring and ensuring timely completion of milestones. This role offers an excellent platform to enhance your SAP project management skills within a supportive and challenging : Project Planning and Support : - Assist senior project managers in defining project scope, objectives, and deliverables. - Contribute to the development of detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocation. Team Coordination : - Facilitate communication and collaboration among project team members, including technical consultants, business analysts, and client stakeholders. - Help ensure clear understanding of tasks and Management : - Monitor project progress against established timelines, identify potential delays, and proactively escalate issues to the senior project manager. Analytical Assessments : - Participate in data gathering and analysis to support project decision-making. - Assist in identifying areas for process improvement and optimization within SAP systems. Plant Maintenance Focus : - Apply your expertise in Plant Maintenance (PM) processes within SAP ECC to support relevant project activities, including configuration, testing, and deployment. - Business Process Understanding : Leverage your understanding of core business processes to ensure SAP solutions align with client requirements and drive business value. - Project Implementation Support : Contribute to all phases of SAP project implementation, including requirements gathering, system configuration, testing, training, and go-live. - Documentation : Assist in the creation and maintenance of project documentation, including project plans, status reports, meeting minutes, and issue logs. - Risk Management : Help identify potential project risks and contribute to the development and implementation of mitigation strategies. - Stakeholder Communication : Support the senior project manager in communicating project status, updates, and potential issues to relevant stakeholders. - Quality Assurance : Participate in testing activities to ensure the quality and functionality of SAP solutions. Qualifications and Skills : Mandatory : 2-4 years of demonstrable experience working with SAP ECC in a project environment. - SAP Project Management Fundamentals : Solid understanding of project management methodologies and Strong Analytical Skills : Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and contribute to problem-solving. - Expertise in Plant Maintenance (PM) : Hands-on knowledge of SAP ECC Plant Maintenance module, including configuration and business processes. - Knowledge of Business Processes : Understanding of common business processes across different functional areas (e.g., Sales, Finance, Materials Management). - Project Implementation Experience : Familiarity with the different phases of SAP project implementation lifecycles. - Excellent Organizational Skills : Ability to manage tasks effectively, prioritize responsibilities, and maintain organized project documentation. - Excellent Communication Skills : Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact effectively with team members and stakeholders. - Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and contribute to multiple projects simultaneously. Education : Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
