Job Overview : Big Oh Tech is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Python Backend Developer with a strong focus on system and application integration. In this role, you will be instrumental in understanding customer needs, designing robust integration solutions, and ensuring seamless connectivity between various systems and platforms. You will act as a key point of contact for clients during the integration process, collaborating with internal teams to deliver solutions that precisely meet their business requirements. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to impactful projects and work with a dynamic team of technology : - Thoroughly understand customer needs and translate them into comprehensive integration solutions. - Design, develop, and implement integration solutions based on provided requirements and Business Requirement Documents (BRDs). - Collaborate effectively with various internal teams, including development, testing, and project management, to ensure successful delivery of customer requirements. - Act as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) from Service Integration for the client throughout the entire solution delivery lifecycle. - Provide technical expertise and guidance to clients regarding integration options and best practices. - Develop and maintain clear and concise documentation for integration processes, APIs, and configurations. - Perform thorough testing of integration solutions to ensure functionality, reliability, and performance. - Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the integration process. - Stay up-to-date with the latest integration technologies and trends. - Contribute to the continuous improvement of our integration processes and : - 2-3 years of proven experience as a Backend Developer with a strong focus on system and application integrations. - Hands-on experience working on various integration projects as a developer. - Solid understanding of API concepts (RESTful, SOAP) and experience with API design, development, and testing. - Strong technical skills, including proficiency in Python scripting and backend development. - Experience working with databases, both relational (e.g., SQL) and NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB). - Demonstrated problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex integration challenges and propose effective solutions. - A proactive attitude and a strong work ethic with a commitment to delivering high-quality results. - Customer-centric approach with a genuine desire to understand and meet client needs. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences. - Strong reporting skills with the ability to provide clear and concise updates on project progress. Bonus Points : - Experience with specific integration platforms or tools. - Familiarity with cloud-based integration services. - Knowledge of different data formats (e.g., JSON, XML). - Experience with agile development methodologies.
