Role Overview : We are seeking an exceptional and visionary Head Technology to lead our end-to-end technology strategy and execution. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in software development (Python, React.js), scalable API architecture, AWS cloud infrastructure, and database engineering, along with a proven track record of delivering complex digital platforms. Experience in maritime or shipping technology is a strong advantage. Key Responsibilities : - Technology Leadership : Define and drive the companys technology roadmap, aligning engineering execution with business vision and product goals. - Software Architecture & Development Oversight : Oversee scalable system design and secure API development using Python (FastAPI/Django) and React.js, ensuring code quality and performance. - Cloud Infrastructure Management : Own and optimize the companys AWS architecture, including deployment pipelines, server orchestration, security, and cost management. - Team Building & Management : Lead, mentor, and scale a high-performing tech team across backend, frontend, DevOps, and QA. Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement. - Project & Delivery Governance : Ensure timely and high-quality delivery of technology initiatives through effective sprint planning, project tracking, and cross-functional coordination. - Client & Stakeholder Collaboration : Translate business and client requirements into technical strategies. Serve as a technology partner in customer discussions, demos, and product customizations. - Data & Database Management : Guide secure and efficient data architecture across SQL and NoSQL databases. Oversee backup, scaling, and performance monitoring. - Security & Compliance : Implement and monitor data security, cloud compliance, and software reliability standards. - Maritime Domain Integration : Apply understanding of shipping workflows, voyage operations, and compliance protocols to shape relevant product features and integrations. Requirements : - 1015 years of progressive leadership in software engineering and system architecture. - Proven experience in leading large-scale products using Python, React.js, and API-centric design. - Strong command over AWS cloud services, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines. - Solid database management experience (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB). - Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage delivery across multiple concurrent projects. - Excellent stakeholder management and strategic thinking capabilities. - Prior exposure to shipping, maritime, or logistics tech is highly preferred. - Strong grasp of Agile/Scrum practices and DevOps culture. - Bachelor's/Masters in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; additional certifications in AWS, project management, or architecture are a plus.
