SR Financial Planner

We are seeking a highly analytical and strategic Senior Financial Planning & Analysis Analyst to join our dynamic Finance team. This role plays a key part in delivering high-quality financial insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making across the organization. The ideal candidate has strong experience in the CPG industry, deep expertise in financial modeling and forecasting, and hands-on experience with SAP ERP systems . Key Responsibilities: Lead the annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and long-range planning processes for key business units. Analyze business performance against budget, forecast, and prior year; provide actionable insights to senior leadership. Prepare and present monthly financial reporting packages, KPIs, and variance analysis to business partners. Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Operations to align financial plans with business objectives. Utilize SAP to extract, analyze, and report financial data, ensuring data integrity and timeliness. Build complex financial models for new product launches, pricing scenarios, and margin analysis. Identify and drive process improvements, including the implementation of tools and dashboards to streamline reporting and analysis. Support ad hoc analysis and special projects as required by executive leadership. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required: High-level attention to detail Must be able to multitask Ability to work well in a team environment Excellent written and verbal communication skills Minimum Job Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or CPA is a plus. 5–8 years of progressive FP&A experience, ideally within the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry. Strong working knowledge of SAP ERP systems and advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint. Experience with BI tools (e.g., SAP BW, Power BI, Tableau) preferred. Exceptional analytical, financial modeling, and problem-solving skills. Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
