Utilities Engineer

About the Role: As a Utilities Engineer , youll be a key player in ensuring the efficiency and reliability of all utility systems (compressed air, steam, HVAC, chilled water, etc.) across the site. Your strong mechanical background and expertise in P&IDs (Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams) and PFDs (Process Flow Diagrams) will be essential to optimizing plant performance and driving continuous improvement initiatives. Responsibilities: Oversee the operation, maintenance, and performance of all utility systems. Interpret and update P&IDs and PFDs to support engineering projects and plant modifications. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support CAPEX and process improvement projects. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations. Provide technical support to operations and maintenance teams. Liaise with external contractors and suppliers as needed. Requirements: Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent). Proven experience in a Utilities Engineering role within the FMCG or a similar fast-paced manufacturing environment. Strong knowledge of utility systems (e.g., steam, air, refrigeration, etc.).
