Contracts Manager – Commercial Flooring Job Title: Contracts Manager – Commercial Flooring Job reference Number: 460170-5536-25120 Industry Sector: Contracts Manager, Project Manager, Flooring Contractors, Commercial Flooring, Fit Out Contractor, Carpet Tile, Laminate Flooring, Wooden Flooring, Carpets, Office Fit Out, Fit Out Area to be covered: Midlands Remuneration: £40,000 - £50,000 discretionary bonus Benefits: Company vehicle or allowance & comprehensive benefits package The role of the Contracts Manager – Commercial Flooring will involve: Contracts Manager position overseeing various commercial flooring projects such as vinyl, laminate, wood, carpets and carpet tile Monitoring all site activity; organising all site workers, collating risk assessments and carrying out health and safety checks Organising the delivery of all materials that will be needed on site and ensuring they arrive on time Ensure projects are running smoothly and ensuring that project deadlines are adhered to, whilst maintaining project cost plans Liaising with clients and providing project reports Attending pre-contract meetings and progress meetings with clients Managing projects ranging in value from £250,000 to circa £2,000,000 The ideal applicant will be a Contracts Manager – Commercial Flooring with: Must be a Contracts Manager within the construction industry working for a subcontractor or main contractor Ideally will have sound technical knowledge of the flooring market sector vinyl, laminate, wood, carpets and carpet tile Full UK driving license Must have excellent communication skills across all levels both written and verbal Professional and highly organised Computer literate (Microsoft Office)
