The Role: As part of a major city-centre regeneration scheme in Sheffield, you’ll be a key member of the commercial team responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of complex infrastructure and civil engineering packages. This flagship project represents a significant transformation of the urban environment and offers an exciting opportunity to be involved from the ground up. Key Responsibilities: * Manage commercial aspects of subcontract packages from procurement to final account * Track budgets, provide accurate forecasting and financial reporting * Ensure compliance with contract terms (NEC and/or JCT) * Support the project management team with cost control and value engineering * Liaise with clients, consultants, and internal stakeholders to manage project risks and opportunities Requirements: * Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering or similar (or relevant experience) * Minimum 3 years’ experience in a civil engineering or infrastructure environment * Familiarity with NEC and/or JCT contracts * Excellent cost management and reporting skills * Strong communication and organisational abilities What’s on Offer: * Competitive salary and package (including car allowance) * 26 days holiday plus bank holidays * Company pension scheme and other benefits * Long-term development opportunities in a major UK construction business * Be part of a collaborative team delivering one of the North’s most important regeneration projects
