Site based Maintenance Electrician - Carlisle - Global Facilities Management Organisation: Commercial & FMCG CBW Staffing Solutions are seeking a skilled Maintenance Electrician to join our global client on a permanent basis, who are a leading provider in facilities management solutions , delivering top-tier services across various industries. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical maintenance within commercial settings, as they will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems and equipment to ensure optimal functionality and safety. This is a static contract, based in Carlisle, Cumbria. Package: ? Competitive salary between £40,000 - £43,000 per annum (depending on experience) ? Core hours are Monday - Friday (40 hours per week) ? Participation in an out of hours on call rota (to be confirmed) ? 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays ? Generous workplace pension scheme ? Training, development & progression opportunities Responsibilities: ? Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to identify and resolve issues promptly ? Perform preventive maintenance tasks to minimise downtime and ensure the longevity of electrical equipment ? Troubleshoot electrical faults and implement effective solutions to restore functionality ? Install, repair, and maintain electrical components, such as wiring, circuit breakers, and lighting fixtures ? Collaborate with other maintenance personnel and contractors to coordinate repairs and upgrades ? Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to create a secure working environment Qualifications: ? Qualified to at least City & Guilds Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent ? Holding up to date 18th Edition Wiring Regulations ? Proven experience as a Maintenance Electrician or similar role within the facilities management industry ?
