Job Description
Lead Site Engineer - Leeds Permanent Global Intralogistics business who specialise in the design, development and maintenance of highly automated systems as they search for a Lead Site Engineer to join the team. The responsibility of the Lead Site Engineer will be a mixture of managing stakeholders, leading a small team, CMMS management as well as helping with maintenance tasks within a fast-paced environment. Shift Pattern: • Currently 8 hour’s days Monday to Friday 7am - 3pm (Subject to change to 6am – 2pm/2pm – 10pm) Key Responsibilities: • Carrying out preventative and reactive Maintenance tasks across the site, as well as contributing to continuous improvement tasks. • Performing Electrical and Mechanical maintenance on automated systems. • Mechanical maintenance tasks such as the strip-down and re-assembly of equipment, replacement of components and re-lacing of belts for example. • Electrically, you will be responsible for electrical testing using a multi-meter, interpreting electrical diagrams & symbols to support identification of faults and work up to 480v. • Managing CMMS. • Stakeholder management. • Lead a small team. Skills and Qualifications Required: • Completed an apprenticeship in an Electromechanical discipline to a minimum standard of NVQ level 3 • Experience of Automated Systems • HNC/HND NVQ Level 5 Desirable • Understanding of WMS, WCS systems is beneficial • Pneumatic and Hydraulic knowledge beneficial • Computer literate with Microsoft Office skills Benefits: • Current salary 49k 5k Shift Allowance. Additional job information * Must have level 3 NVQ at least in maintenance ideally higher such as a HNC. * The site consists of one site engineer (lead engineer) and a shift engineer on site. * Current working hours is 7am - 3pm Monday - Friday. This will change eventually to 6-2/2-10 Monday-Friday. * Manage a team of one engineer, possibly changing to a team of 2 in august but not confirmed yet. * 40% of the role is hands on maintenance due to the small team and the other 60 in managing the team, managing CMMS, PPM management, stakeholder management, and monthly presentation to customers. * Completed an apprenticeship in an Electromechanical discipline to a minimum standard of NVQ level 3 * Experience working on automated systems
