Structural Engineer

GPW recruitment are recruiting a Structural Engineer for a reputable Engineering and Projects Delivery business specialising in the design, installation, management and consultancy of bulk material handling systems. reporting to the Head of Civil / Structural, at their Adlington office. The purpose of the Structural Engineer role is to ensure that Civil/ Structural designs meet the highest standards with regards to safety, code compliance, scope alignment, quality, cost, and on-time delivery. Minimum Requirements: * Degree qualified in Engineering (Civil or Structural) * Experience working in a Civil / Structural Engineering field. * Knowledge of the construction & process industries and applicable standards. * Ability to use structural analytical software unaided (STAAD Pro or TEKLA Structures preferred). * Understanding of load cases and combinations, and ability to deduce that structures are behaving as intended through calculation or analysis.
