Site Engineer

Carmichael UK are seeking a Site Engineer with Earthworks and Roadworks experience to work on a Tier 1 highways project in Gloucestershire Responsibilities As a Site Engineer, you'll be responsible for setting out works constructed within allowable tolerances. Ensuring the workforce understands the setting out information and that it is suitable for the type of work being carried out. Your Day To Day Will Include Management of Safety, Health, Environmental and Quality (SHEQ) matters of areas of direct responsibility. Support the Section Engineer & Sub Agent role and that of the site team and assist in providing projects progress reports, accurate site diaries and as-built surveys Liaise with other members of the Scheme Team responsible for the delivery of the project on time and on budget Provide and maintain setting out and dimensional control to ensure accurate construction of the work Supervise site activities and assist in the management of sub-contractors What are we looking for? This role of Site Engineer is great for you if: Relevant construction related degree/HNC and/or background in Major civils Holder of CSCS card, SMSTS
