M&E Quantity Surveyor

About the Role We are currently seeking an experienced M&E Quantity Surveyor with a strong commercial background to join our team. The successful candidate will take responsibility for overseeing both multiple concurrent projects and individual high-value schemes, with typical project values ranging from £3 million to £8 million, delivered over 6 to 12 month programmes. You will play a critical role in ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget, while managing subcontractor packages, cost planning, valuations, and variations for high-spec commercial developments. Key Responsibilities Oversee the full commercial management of M&E projects valued £3m–£8m. Manage multiple projects concurrently and single major schemes. Cost planning, tendering, and procurement of M&E packages. Prepare and manage interim valuations, change control and final accounts. Liaise with project teams, clients, and subcontractors to ensure commercial goals are achieved. Monitor project performance, profitability, and risk. Ensure compliance with contract conditions and client requirements. Requirements Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the M&E and commercial construction sector. Strong understanding of both mechanical and electrical systems in building services. Ability to manage complex projects and competing priorities. Experience managing projects from pre-construction through to final account. Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
