Maintenance Engineer (Electrical)

Job Title: Maintenance Engineer Location: Glasgow area Rate: £35 p/h (PAYE) Contract: 3 months We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer with an Electrical bias to join a leading FMCG company in the Glasgow area. In this role, you will ensure machinery and equipment are maintained, repaired, and serviced to ensure maximum efficiency, working with high-speed bottling lines and packing machinery. Key Responsibilities: Perform planned preventative maintenance on plant equipment. Diagnose faults and repair machinery to high standards. Address recurring defects and implement corrective actions. Maintain engineering documentation, including manuals and risk assessments. Requirements: Recognized engineering qualification or equivalent experience. Strong electrical engineering skills, including fault finding, repair, and installation. Shift Example: The role follows a continuous day shift pattern: 7 shifts over 14 days (07:45-20:00).
