Job Title: Temporary Food Technology Teacher Location: Bolton Start Date: ASAP Salary: £150 - £210 per day We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Food Technology Teacher to join our Design & Technology department on a temporary basis. This full-time role is suitable for a teacher who is passionate about food education and committed to delivering creative, engaging lessons that inspire students to develop essential life skills. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Food Preparation and Nutrition at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, ensuring high standards of teaching and learning across all abilities. Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver high-quality Food Tech lessons in line with the national curriculum Encourage creativity, safety, and independence in food preparation Monitor, assess and report on student progress Maintain high standards of food hygiene and classroom organisation Contribute to the broader life of the department and school The Ideal Candidate Will: Hold QTS or equivalent recognised UK teaching qualification Have experience teaching Food Technology in a secondary school setting Be confident managing a practical classroom environment Be organised, proactive, and passionate about student learning Be available to start immediately or at short notice Our staff are paid on a PAYE basis, so you can rest assured that you are paying the right level of TAX and National Insurance and there’s no messing around with admin charges coming out of your hard-earned cash.
