Small Works Manager

Harris Global are currently on the lookout for a Small Works Manager to join our client based in Oxted. Candidates must have prior experience working in Construction or Roofing/Cladding and will have Health and Safety experience alongside creating RAMS. You don't have to have worked as a Small Works Manager previously, open to all profiles with H&S experience and RAMS understanding. Key Responsibilities: * Plan and coordinate plant, materials, labour, and scheduling for small works projects up to £10k. * Attend internal contract meetings and liaise with key stakeholders. * Negotiate with suppliers, subcontractors, and service providers to ensure best value. * Ensure delivery of agreed service centre margins and profitability targets. * Prepare Health & Safety documentation in line with company policies, ensuring all contracts meet compliance and safety standards. * Create and manage Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS) to ensure safe working practices. * Oversee service reviews carried out by operatives and contracts supervisors. * Utilise the company’s project management portal to record site activity, progress, and documentation. * Build and maintain positive communication with client representatives to ensure smooth project delivery. Knowledge & Experience Required: * Experience in a roofing, construction, or facilities management environment * Knowledge of health & safety regulations * Experience in creating RAMS (Risk Assessment & Method Statements) * Familiarity with different systems and materials used in construction and roofing * Ability to communicate effectively at all levels, both internally and externally * Excellent organisational and time management skills If you are interested and would like to discuss further - please apply now
