Air Conditioning Engineer

Join a well-established 10M turnover Mechanical, Electrical and Renewables contractor with over 10 years trading, and two offices covering across the Midlands and South. They have over 85 employees and they are expanding. They are hiring for an experienced Air Conditioning Engineer to join the team working in Hotels, Travel Lodge and Hilton clients and carrying out service, breakdown and repair. Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 doe - plus Door-to-Door Travel Location: London and Home Counties Hours: 8am –5pm Holiday 25 days Plus 8 bank holidays as a base rate On call rota - £110 Standby Plenty of overtime paid at 1.5X and X2 Sundays and Bank Holidays Benefits * Annual salary review in line with Appraisals and Performance Related Pay * Pension * Healthcare Cashback Plan (eligible on successful completion of probation) * Company Days * Ongoing training and development * Able to provide References Duties: * Carry out servicing, fault diagnosis, breakdown response, and repair of air conditioning systems including split systems, VRV/VRF, and multi-split systems. * Perform routine and reactive maintenance to ensure systems operate efficiently and in line with current regulations. * Complete all relevant documentation and reports accurately and in a timely manner. * Deliver high standards of customer service and ensure a professional approach on all sites. * Liaise with office support and clients to schedule and report on work progress * Work well with a team * Testing work and confidence in filling out test results * Good at problem and fault finding. * Experience with control panels. Requirements: * F-Gas certification (Category 1). * NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration (or equivalent). * Proven experience in service, breakdown and repair of AC systems. * Knowledge of manufacturers such as Daikin, Mitsubishi, Toshiba, and LG is advantageous. * Full UK driving licence. * Ability to work independently and be part of an on-call rota if required
