Trainee Workshop Technician

Trainee Workshop Technician JT Recruit are currently recruiting a new Trainee Workshop Technician for a permanent role based at the Materials Testing Laboratory in Derby. About the Role: Our client is a global leader in Total Quality Assurance, working across industries including aerospace, oil & gas, rail, automotive, construction, and more. Key Duties: * Sectioning of received samples for further machining * Machining test specimens in accordance with required specifications for materials testing and analysis * Working in a fast-paced workshop environment * Keeping the workspace clean and organised * Daily equipment checks to ensure peak performance Full Training Provided Experience in machining or engineering is a plus but not essential – all relevant training will be provided.
