About the role of Assistant Quantity Surveyor: Opportunity for an experienced assistant quantity surveyor to join a reputable London based painting and decorating sub-contractor who have been operating for over 50 years. Notable projects include the 2012 Olympic village, terminal 2 at Heathrow airport, Gatwick airport south terminal, the Battersea power station redevelopment and many more. They deliver services to a wide range of public, private and main contractor clients across the residential, industrial, leisure, education and commercial sectors. Responsibilities for Assistant Quantity Surveyor: - Working from the PCSA/2 Stage tender process, to delivering the site and working through to completion and final accounts. - Assisting both the Quantity Surveyors and Senior Quantity Surveyors on site. - Managing packages, collating CVRS and managing the commercial process. Requirements for Assistant Quantity Surveyor: - Degree qualified and needs to be construction based, or construction degree equivalent. - Good communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to build and maintain strong relationships. - Personable and friendly character to fit in with company culture.
